  2.     MODIFY SCHEDULED BACKUP
  3.  
  4.     There are two button differences in the Modify window:
  5.  
  6.     + you can use the Modify button (rather than the Add button) after
  7.       you've made all your changes and
  8.  
  9.     + you can use the Next button to modify additional backup schedules
  10.       if you've selected more than one backup to modify from the Scheduled
  11.       Backup Configuration list.

  13.     Backup Name
  14.  
  15.     The Backup Name field is a display-only field.
  16.  
  17.     Description
  18.  
  19.     Use this field to provide a brief description of the backup.
  20.  
  21.     Backup Device
  22.  
  23.     Use this field to specify the logical device name for the backup.
  24.     Logical device names are defined via the Configure Devices window
  25.     (see "Configure Devices" on page 6-2). You can also click on the
  26.     arrow button to the right to bring up a list of all defined device
  27.     names and select one of them.

  29.     Catalog Name
  30.  
  31.     If you have enabled backup catalogs, specify in this field which
  32.     catalog will be used to keep a record of this backup. See the
  33.     Catalog function in the Session Preferences menu item (see"Session
  34.     Preferences" on page 2-2 for more details).

  36.     Backup Type
  37.  
  38.     These toggle buttons specify whether to run an Incremental or Full
  39.     backup. The Incremental backup choice will also activate the Backup
  40.     files CHANGED toggle buttons.

  42.     Backup files CHANGED
  43.  
  44.     This set of toggle buttons specifies which files should be backed up
  45.     during an Incrementally backup. The options are files that have
  46.     changed:
  47.  
  48.     + Since Last Full Backup (the default)
  49.     + Since Last Incremental Backup
  50.     + Within time period
  51.  
  52.     The Within time period choice will also activate the Number of Days
  53.     field so you can specify a time period.
  54.  
  55.     Number of Days
  56.  
  57.     You can use this field to specify how many days back Enlighten will
  58.     check to see if a file has changed and therefore should be backed
  59.     up. The arrow buttons to the right will automatically increment or
  60.     decrement the number displayed in the text field.

  62.     Remain in partition
  63.  
  64.     Use this option to select whether you want the backup to cover only
  65.     the immediately defined partition for a particular directory (Yes)
  66.     or all partitions listed under that directory (No). The default is
  67.     Yes.

  69.     **File List**
  70.  
  71.     Use this list box to enter which files will be checked for changes.
  72.     Those which have changed will then be the backed up as specified in
  73.     the preceding fields.

  75.     Time of Backup
  76.  
  77.     You can use this field with the Schedule Type toggle buttons to
  78.     determine when a backup should be executed. See the Schedule Type
  79.     field description below for more details on how this field is used.

  81.     Schedule Type
  82.  
  83.     This set of toggle buttons determines how and when the backup will
  84.     occur. The choices are:
  85.  
  86.     + Weekly The days of the week will be displayed. Select which days
  87.       the backups should occur. Enter when the backup will occur in the
  88.       Time of Backup field.
  89.  
  90.     + Monthly The days of the month will be displayed. Select which days
  91.       the backups should occur. Enter when the backup will occur in the
  92.       Time of Backup field.
  93.  
  94.     + Manual This option does not schedule a time to perform the backup;
  95.       you run it by selecting the Execute Now button in the Scheduled
  96.       Backup Configuration parent window.
  97.  
  98.     + One time Specify a (one time) date and time to run the backup in
  99.       the Time of Backup field.

  103.     Buttons

  105.     The Scheduled Backup Add window contains the following buttons:

  109.     Click on this button to create the scheduled backup defined by the
  110.     rest of this window's fields.

  113.     Clear Fields
  114.  
  115.     Click on this button to clear the existing choices in all fields.

  117.     Execute Now
  118.  
  119.     Click on this button to execute the highlighted backup immediately.
  120.     This occurs regardless of the backup's defined schedule time.

  124.     Click on this button to close the window without saving any
  125.     scheduled backup information.
